Our story
One person can change the future of a community
Hamdi Akujobi, a professional footballer with roots in Amaimo, started supporting the community in 2022. In 2024, HJA Foundation was officially registered in Nigeria.
Since then, the foundation has been working on the ground in Amaimo, Ikeduru LGA, Imo State, bringing education, sport and community support to those who need it most, with healthcare as our next step. Our goal is to grow our impact across Imo State and beyond.

Our mission & vision
Our mission
To empower communities in Amaimo through sustainable programs in education, healthcare, sport and community development.
We believe lasting change comes from within the community. We work alongside local leaders, families and young people to build a stronger Amaimo.
Our vision
An Amaimo where every child has access to education, every family to healthcare, and every young person the chance to reach their full potential.
We are building that future one project at a time, from classrooms to clinics, from football pitches to community halls.
Our impact
Since 2022, we have been creating real change in Amaimo, one project, one family, one child at a time.
